Week 13 Ski Group

Well here are the weeks booked for next seasons ski trips. Both weeks have been kept to an absolute minimum cost due to the uncertainty in the currency markets and even now airlines are reserving the right to add fuel surcharges. Your Week 13 team has worked tirelessly to achieve the week's skiing you have come to expect.

For the Beginners week, 5 days skiing, we have secured once again one to one tuition on the slopes under the watchful eyes of your group leader with the opportunity for cart skiers to gain a licence to ski on their own. Only cart skiers need a licence, all other skiers can ski without one.

For the Recreational week there will be 6 full days skiing with the usual multicentre skiing, night skiing and new places to visit. We hope to repeat our trip to the “Week 13 ski resort” (Trillevallen) but this time we will tell them we are coming earlier! Plus the availability of the usual entertainment. We hope that a few more of the musically gifted will bring their instruments with them as this group seems to be much more self contained on the amusement front! We will be spending Saturday skiing so don’t expect the day off.

Activities off the slopes fore both groups will consist of the facilities in the hotel, sauna, solarium, gym, swimming pool and the Jacuzzi. The Beginners week participants will spend Saturday out of the hotel on a group activity or individual activities, plus a night out in another local restaurant. There are night clubs and “after Ski” activities available.

Both of these weeks need plenty of able bodied support so friends and relations are essential and if you need a personal carer you will need to bring your own. We do have contacts through care agencies that can help.

For the Beginners week costs are reduced for helpers as there is no ski guide facility available.
